'Kids Classical Club'
In 2018 I broadcast my own radio show 'Kids Classical Club’, which started as an outlet for children to learn about classical music in a fun and interactive way.
By being a part of the local radio station, Liffey Sound FM, I was able to connect with my local community and workshop in schools around the area.
The show was intended to reach new and existing lovers of classical music while educating the younger generations about the world of classical music. This included interviews with some of Ireland’s leading musicians, offered musical games and interactive exercises for the children and enhanced the children’s knowledge of the instruments of the orchestra.
I hope to continue this series into a larger initiative for children and develop a second series of Kids Classical Club radio show. Do get in touch if you know any little musical helpers who would be interested in taking part.
